Seth Thomas/M. Low WWII 12 hour ships/boat radio room clock
Up for your consideration is a WWII Seth Thomas, front wind case, 12 hour format Ships/Boat radio room clock. The dial plate is an M. A new quartz movement and reproduction set of hands are included. The wind opening and adjuster hole is blocked with false images. Since the dial plate has no S/N, I’m assuming it is post WWII, tho I’m not sure about that. It’s called a radio room clock because of the red markings. Those markings are to remind radio operators NOT to transmit during those times, to allow any emergency transmissions (aka SOS) and emergency beacons to be picked up. Just a tid-bit there. I think this is an interesting piece of historical memorabilia. Mount it on your wall and enjoy it, for what it is. And, you don’t have to wind it. The item “Seth Thomas/M.
