This unit is designed to mount out of sight in a cabin or cubby, controlled by the JL Audio MediaMaster® MMR-40. You can also add a wide range of NMEA 2000-compatible multi-function devices, including chartplotters. Plenty of ways to play. You can also plug in a USB thumb drive or portable player and enjoy MP3 and WMA files you’ve ripped from your CD collection. The built-in four channel amp (30 watts RMS x 4) powers the speakers in two separate zones. The MM80-HR has 4-channel preamp outputs for connecting external amps and building up your system. You can use this powerful little receiver to create a three-zone system on your boat. Each zone features a zero-clipping audio circuit to protect your speakers from blowing up while you’re rocking out. Level Control Mode let you adjust all three zones, together or individually.
